Prana Birth Services offers childbirth education services for expecting families in the Windsor and surrounding area.
I offer unbiased support of YOUR choices for the birth of your child allowing you to feel empowered every step of the journey.
I will guide you through the array of childbirth choices and decisions to help you to determine what works best for you and your family.
As a trauma informed practice my goal is to help you to feel calm, secure and cared for during this transformative time.

Who I am

Kathy Herbertson is a Mom to 2 beautiful children, Registered Practical nurse and has been studying birth for over 10 years. I am passionate about supporting women on their journey into Motherhood. I believe that bringing a baby earth side is a transformational event that will forever be etched in the minds of families. It is my goal to help families feel supported, empowered and strong during this transition.  I believe that all Mom's can benefit from the support of a Doula and have a special interest in those who have experienced previous trauma. I have attended Safe Passages training and am certified through Childbirth International as a Labour Doula, I am continually striving to further my skill set and keep current on all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. ​

My Services

Consultations are always free and I am always available for email support. Additional visits (either pre or post natal) can be arranged if needed depending on availability. I am proud to be a trauma informed practice and can offer support throughout pregnancy, and beyond for those with a history of trauma.
